250 Free Priority Club Points & 12 Lounge Passes For $32.94

250 Priority Club Points

I’m a little late to the party but if you haven’t already taken the Priority Club survey for 250 points, please do so below.

The survey is only a few questions, however the website was running super slow this afternoon.Hopefully that is fixed now!

Remember that with Priority Club PointBreak list, you can sometimes snag hotels like the Intercontinental O’Hare for a mere 5,000 points. I have actually done that exact PointBreak redemption and let me just tell you it was a steal!

12 Lounge Passes For $32.94

Million Mile Secrets pointed out today that Travel and Credit discovered a way to get 12 lounge passes for $32.94.

Now while I am all for severely discounted or free lounge passes, I would take caution with these types of promotions where they just ask you to pay “processing fees”.

If you ever watch late night infomercials, they also just ask you to pay additional “processing fees” and we all know how good of a deal those products are.

More than likely once you give your credit card, in a few months when you have forgotten all about this deal, they will bill you for a small amount like $15.00 that you might not even notice. I am working on a post for next week that looks at ways to protect yourself from these types of special offers, but to anyone who is thinking about doing this offer or has already done it, I’d be sure to carefully monitor your credit card statement in the future.

Registration Now Open For Chicago DO Seminars

Rick aka Frugal Travel Guy is once again putting on the Chicago DO seminars on October 12-14, 2012. I’ve never been before but since I want to meet my readers and catch up with folks I met at the StarMegaDO3, I will be there! If you want to learn everything there is to know about earning miles and meet some legends in the process, I’d sign up!

Cost is $85.00 for the weekend, not including hotel. However if you are savvy enough, maybe the PointBreak list will have some Chicago hotels!

AwardWallet Premium Subscription Giveaway Still Open

My giveaway of 10 Premium Subscriptions to AwardWallet is still open until Sunday. If you have not already done so, please leave a comment about where your best vacation has been. I don’t think even 10 people have commented, so I’d say your chances are pretty high to snag one!

  1. Thanks for the link back!
The Skyguide program where you receive the Lounge Pass reimbursement from that I wrote about is run by American Express and has been around for quite awhile. I haven’t read any feedback on Flyertalk or Milepoint in the several threads on the deal over the years of anyone noticing suspicious credit card charges. I’ll keep an eye out but people have been getting reimbursed for these for quite awhile.
