UPDATE: Hyatt Upgrade Certificates are now gone but if any SMD4ers have certificates that are about to expire and would like to donate them to Readers, please contact me.
So over the past few months, as I have signed up for Credit Cards and attended various Frequent Flyer Events like FTU, SMD4, and Chicago Seminars, I have amassed quite a stock pile of swag (aka S#%t We All Get) and other “perks” that I won’t be able to use.
For example, as part of the SMD4, Hyatt gave me 4 Suite Upgrades that will expire at the end of February 2013. I have used 2, but am doubtful I will use the other two by then. So if anyone has any PAID Hyatt stays coming up, feel free to shoot me an email and I can give you one.
From what I found out when one of my Friends came to Chicago for New Years and stayed at the Park Hyatt, is if you have a Paid Stay (then upgraded using the Suite Certificate) followed 2 Free Nights from your Hyatt Card, the Hotel will allow you to stay in the Suite for all the nights pending availability.
Also thanks to my AMEX Platinum which gets me AA Lounge Access, I have no real use for the 4 Admirals Club Passes Citibank sent me with my 2 new AA Cards. If you can use them, please leave a comment and I’ll randomly pick 4 winners.
Which leads me to the next part…
It seems each Travel Blog in the Blogosphere has it’s own culture. For some reason or the other even though there are a ton of FFU Readers, you guys don’t like to Comment.
Normally this wouldn’t be an issue, but Comments are really the only tool I have to know if I am doing something right or wrong.
If I get a lot of positive Comments on a post, it tells me that Readers are interested in the topic and that I should try and write more about it. Whereas negative Comments tell me to never write about the topic again.
So going forward, I would appreciate it if you find a post that you really like or dislike, please just leave a Comment so I know.
If the problem is that you guys don’t like Disqus Commenting System, then I can also turn that off!
Hopefully with more Comments, I will be able to further refine the topics I write about and provide more useful information to all the FFU Readers!
Thanks in advance!
Don’t ever miss another FFU Update or Travel Deal!
