Free Accor Platinum Status & Maybe Free Hilton Gold Status

Almost like a sign from the travel gods, as Gary from ViewFromTheWing points out, Accor A|Club is once again offering free Platinum Status! As I talked about in a prior post yesterday, I received this free Accor Platinum status in October 2011.

Although I have never stayed at an Accor hotel or plan to in the future, these free statuses are great for doing status matches. Especially since this status is Platinum, it could be particular useful in getting a top-tier match at another chain. Remember to use Status Matcher to find status match success stories and the phone number, emails, and fax numbers to get your status match.

Also in the comments section of Gary’s older post about free Hilton HHonors Gold Status, people are saying that using code 442394 can still get you free Hilton HHonors Gold Status. I also signed up for this promo in December, however this might be a status that I actually use in 2012.

As I always say, it’s better to have more statuses than none at all.

300 Free Priority Club Points

Via Gary from ViewFromTheWing and Miles Momma, they share an offer for 300 free Priority Club points. While many people scoff at these little offers. I have never stayed at any Intercontinental Properties but have accumulated almost 10,000 points over the years doing these little promos.

What is cool about Priority Club is that they sometimes offer Price Breaker deals that are only 5,000 points. So when my girlfriend’s parents came to visit us in Chicago, I redeemed 5,000 points for them to stay at the Intercontinental O’Hare which is a really nice hotel. Since Priority Club typically does quite a few of these little promos over the year, it is always useful to earn these points especially since Miles Momma is so gracious and has provided you with the answers below.

2500 Free Citi Thank You Points

Although I do not have any Citibank credit cards, or as I like to call them ShittyBank, Gary at ViewFromTheWing points out that Citi is giving away 2500 Thank You points to existing card members who link up their Facebook accounts. Since I’ve never had any Citi cards, I’m not sure what the value of a Thank You Point is but i’m guessing it is decent, not to mention free so if you have any cards that earn Thank You Points be sure to take advantage of this promotion!
