1. The visa gift cards you purchase at office depot (vanilla visa) do not work with amazon payments

3. i have 3 $500 visa giftcards, bought all 3 separately with 3 dominicks store visit with grocery shoppings.

   they have over 7 yrs expiration date so i can use these a year from now or on purchases where i get no points/miles with credit card uses.

   i am against amex giftcards cos many small stores don’t accept it

5. be sure to check your supermarket ads..sometimes they have specials where if you buy gift cards you can get x off your next purchase..my safeways consistently has these types of deals
