Reminder – British Airways 100,000 Avios Offer Ends Tomorrow At 5PM
UPDATE: OFFER HAS EXPIRED & IS NO LONGER VALID
I had another post set for today but apparently British Airways jumped the gun and changed their end date for the British Airways 100,000 Avios Point offer by 1 day.
So instead of ending on Wednesday, this amazing offer now ends tomorrow, Tuesday, July 17, at 5PM EST.
This will be the last time I badger everyone with how great the British Airways 100,000 Point Offer is……. until at least next March ; )
As I’ve stated many times before, this 100,000 offer only comes around once a year, typically in the Spring.
Chase actually ended up extending this offer from June because it turned out to be such a popular Card.
To my knowledge British Airways is the only Credit Card that has publicly offered 100,000 points/miles for getting their Card. Typically most of the official Airline Credit Cards only offer between 25,000 – 50,000 miles for signing up, so this British Airways offer is double that!
I just re-applied for this Card myself and was instantly approved, now I will wait and see if I get the sign on bonus again for the second time!
If the last Chase Card you signed up for was the Chase Sapphire Preferred in March / April, as long as your Credit is good, you should be able to sign up for the British Airways Card and get instantly approved without any issues.
My last Chase Card was the United MileagePlus Explorer in June and I just applied for this British Airways Card again and was approved without issue.
If you are on the fence about signing up for this Card, the one thing that I would point out is that although they bring back this Card every Spring for the last 3 years, they also have bumped up the requirements to get the full miles every year!
I first applied for this British Airways 100,000 Offer in 2010, and back then you only had to spend $3,000 in 3 months to get the full 100,000 points.
If they bring this 100,000 Avios Point offer back again next year (hopefully they do), it is almost guaranteed that they will raise the minimum spend or add more hoops to jump through.
Therefore I’d suggest getting in on it now, not to mention you will be 50,000 – 100,000 Avios Points richer.
If you need some more convincing why you should get this Card and fly around the world for free, check out my old post on My Top 10 Reasons Why I Love British Airways.
